Tidal Gold, The Point

The golden treasures discovered when the tide is low at The Point in Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia, designed and woven by Lunenburg based fibre artist Mary Anne Donovan. 

Materials: cotton warp with weft of local hand dyed silk, merino, linen, mohair, and locally sourced yarns comprised of Scandinavian wool, alpaca, yak, baby llama, cashmere, wool roving, and more. Mounted on a locally crafted ash wood holder.

Dimensions: woven dimensions 18.5 inches wide 30 inches long, including ash wood holder 20 inches wide 32 inches long
