Narrowing

A small handwoven tapestry depicting the narrows of an inlet of Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia, designed and woven by Lunenburg based fibre artist Mary Anne Donovan.

Materials: cotton warp with weft of local hand dyed merino, silk, linen, mohair, Scandinavian wool, cashmere, alpaca, and more. Mounted on Nova Scotia beach driftwood.

Dimensions: woven dimension of 10 inches wide 25 inches long with driftwood extending to 13 inches wide.
