Seeking the Edge - Newfoundland

Handwoven tapestry designed and woven by fibre artist, Mary Anne Donovan in her Lunenburg, Nova Scotia studio. 

Inspired by the East Coast Trail hikes that contour the coastline of Newfoundland.

Materials: cotton warp with weft of locally hand dyed merino wool, silk, linen, mohair, as well as super fine alpaca, Scandinavian wool, Icelandic wool, wool roving and more, mounted on beach driftwood collected along the shores of Nova Scotia.

Dimensions: woven width of 9.5” and length of 25”. Total dimensions including driftwood 19” wide and 30” long.
